First of what I'm planning to be a two part series, I wanted to go with a brighter colour palate for this since in retrospect most of my paintings are at night. Variety and such!

Slum

I've been working a lot on finding what kind of results I want from myself in art, and this is the first painting along that journey. I tried to keep the brush work more pronounces and organic. I dig how it turned out so I will press onward in this direction! Process below.

This was based off of the two characters I sketched in the post below.

sketchbook update

I've been playing around with some brown pens and proportional canons, starting to get some stuff I really like! The patterns on the characters were inspired by some neat African masks I found at the ROM.

Life Drawing! Final classes for winter semester at Sheridan

Finally feel like I'm starting to find my groove in life drawing, Chiseling FTW. Its a shame its over for the semester and I have to wait until September to sign up for the next session. I'll have to venture into the big city to find some drop in sessions to keep in shape.

Trantor first piece - Final

This is the final version of the piece I posted a while back. The second painting in the series is almossssst done. Life? Am I right?

Edit: For some reason the jpeg version, only after being uploaded, had its values change? mystery...PNG uploaded and seems to look as intended now.
